Harmony added
ducks to the farm in June 2005. We rescued some
of the ducks during the Bedford County rescue
June 2005, as a result of a farm foreclosure
where numerous animals needed homes. The others
came from a woman in Roanoke City that had over
50 ducks. She was told by animal control to find
a new home for them. Harmony Farm came to the
rescue. Some of the ducks are Mallards and all
the ducks love corn! The ducks enjoy swimming in
the pools and relaxing in their new duck houses. |
